While serving in my current positions I am been tasked with working in a program, which enhances the department’s response to gender bias in Intimate Partner Violence and to victims and their needs.  I am tasked with completing the functions listed below, my main focus is on cultivating relationships with groups in the community that can assist us in getting the needs of various types of victims met in a timely manner and sustaining those services for the duration of the need of the client.  I am also an Independent Training Consultant for the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP), Law Enforcement Training and Technical Assistance Consortium (LETTAC), Stalking Prevention and Resource Center (Sparc), Institute for Coordinated Community Response (ICCR) and have already co-presented nationally and facilitated at National Conference with regards to gender based violence and LGBTQ+ issues in policing.  I have assisted the Department of Justice in reviewing grants for Violence Against Women and sitting on roundtables in Washington D.C. and via Zoom with regards to the national response to crimes against women.
